The production of hydraulic gyratory crusher has a history of over one hundred years. The structure of hydraulic gyratory crusher is basically similar to that of common gyratory crusher, and the difference lies in that its adjustment and protection device adopt hydraulic cylinder control, and the hydraulic device is installed on the bottom of the engine base and the crushing cone is supported on the hydraulic cylinder. Making use of hydraulic energy storage system can realize security insurance of this crusher and adjustment of discharging mouth, overcome the shortcomings of unreliable safety device of traditional suspension type gyratory crusher and troublesome adjustment of the discharging mouth and motivate the new vigor of gyratory crusher.
On the upper part of the hydraulic cylinder, there are three friction disks. Upper friction disk is fixed onto the lower end of principal axis, lower fiction disk is fixed onto plunger and the upper surface of middle friction disk is sphere and the lower surface of it is plane. When hydraulic gyratory crusher works, the upper surface and lower surface of middle friction disk has relative sliding with upper and lower friction disk. Changing the fuel load inside hydraulic cylinder can adjust the size of discharging mouth, and the adjustment is easy and convenient and it can be done in the working process.
The detailed adjustment process of discharging mouth of hydraulic gyratory crusher goes like this: before starting gyratory crusher, open the hydraulic pump to charge oil to hydraulic cylinder. When crushing cone goes up to the working position, shut stop valve and oil hydraulic pump. As the safety device of hydraulic gyratory crusher, hydraulic device is safe, reliable and convenient. When non-crushable materials go into crushing chamber, due to the rapid increase of crushing force, crushing cone will go down to press plunger to bump up the oil pressure inside the hydraulic cylinder. When oil pressure exceeds the air pressure inside the energy accumulator, oil inside the hydraulic cylinder will be squeezed into energy accumulator. Then crushing cone will go down with plunger, discharging mouth will increase until non-crushable materials are discharged. When non-crushable materials are discharged, under the energy accumulator, oil will be slowly pressed into hydraulic cylinder through one-way throttle valve, thus making crushing cone stably resume. When non-crushable materials are too large and cannot go through discharging mouth, the oil pressure of the system will continue to rise and reach the set value of electro connecting pressure gauge, the control system will automatically stop the main motor to ensure equipment safety.
