If the crusher cannot rotate according to the correct speed, it is better to adopt the one which is slightly higher than the correct speed (within five percent the correct speed). Because if the speed ratio is much lower than the standard, the accumulation of materials in the crushing cavity will increase or even lead to the stop of the crusher. For example, the standard of the shaft speed is 485r/m, and the rotation between 485 and 510rpm (485 x 1.05) does not affect the performance of the crusher.

In order to change the size and / or shape of the products, sometimes it is recommend using the speed which is slightly higher than the correct speed without changing the bypassing ability of the crusher.
